Richard Howard, Managing Director

Richard is from a financial background and was a merchant banking consultant with the New Zealand Government Development Bank before establishing the PathwaysNZ business in the early 1990s. Since this time the business has continued to build upon Richard’s original vision for a high quality, people-focused service provider within the international migration community. Richard remains very active within the day-to-day PathwaysNZ business undertaking specialist case work while fulfilling key management and strategic roles particularly within the corporate business sector. He is also a member of various industry working groups.

Richard has been a member of the New Zealand Association of Migration & Investment Inc. (NZAMI) since 1992 and is the immediate past Chairman and current Board Director of this professional immigration advisers association -  www.nzami.org.nz

When not in the office Richard is likely to be found on the golf course!

 


Anthony Callaghan, Immigration Manager
IAA Licensed Immigration Adviser No: 200800906


Originally from the UK Anthony graduated from Auckland University with Law and Arts degrees. Prior to joining PathwaysNZ Anthony had practiced as a commercial lawyer and had previous immigration work experience with Malcolm Pacific in Auckland. Anthony advises on and administers a full and diverse range of immigration casework and has a successful background with business migration, appeal cases and Ministerial requests which utilise his legal expertise.

Anthony is a keen cricket and boxing fan and a member of the Rotorua Chamber of Commerce.





Heidi Thompson, Senior Case Manager

Heidi is a local from Hamilton, New Zealand, and has recently returned to Hamilton after a number of years overseas living in the UK, Ireland, Portugal and the USA. She graduated from the University of Waikato with a BMS (Hons) in Marketing and Tourism before working extensively in the travel and tourism industry where she gained first hand experience with visa processing and applications.

Heidi is a passionate rugby fan and loves playing hockey (when she is not injured!).




Adam Houppermans, International Student Manager
IAA Licensed Immigration Adviser No: 200902323
 

Adam, as our International Student Manager, will be advising prospective students on the best study pathways to meet their long term goals.  Adam brings a background in mentoring International students through both secondary and tertiary education and has a perceptive interest in intercultural relations. Adam recently graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Social Science majoring in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations and Management.  

He is a keen traveller, has a passion for global cuisine and is also a member of the Royal Numismatic Society of New Zealand.





Mehak Anand, Trainee Case Manager

Mehak is originally from Delhi, India but migrated to New Zealand with her family in 2000. She completed her high school education in New Zealand before enrolling in a Law degree at University of Waikato. She graduated with her LLB in 2009 and is currently half way through an LLM, she plans to complete her masters thesis whilst working at Pathways with the subject matter focused on immigration. Along with her family she is very active within the local community, speaking Hindi and Punjabi she is also a qualified interpretor.

Fikrat Lukmanov, Trainee Case Manager

Fikrat is originally from Uzbekistan and is now a New Zealand resident. Fikrat joins us having been a client of PathwaysNZ, not only is he familiar with the migration process but first hand experience in the value added service that pathwaysNZ extends to their clients and to the application process itself. Fikrat holds a law degree and a Masters of International Business from University of Waikato. He brings to us over 10 years work experience with some of the worlds leading consulting practices, having worked in projects delivery major financial and legislative policy change to countries within the former Soviet Union. Fikrat is fluent in English, Russian, Uzbek and Kazak

Administration

Amandeep Kaur

, Client Relationship Manager Indian Market

Amandeep hails from Amritsar in India’s northern Punjab region. Well educated with an MSc Agriculture and Diploma in Journalism from India she pursued a successful career as a Staff Reporter in India’s leading English daily newspaper, Hindustan Times, before coming to Hamilton (New Zealand) in July 2008. In New Zealand she furthered her studies completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Communications from the Waikato Institute of Technology (Wintec).

As well as fulfilling her responsibilities with Pathways Amandeep continues to write as a journalist. She regularly writes for several newspapers and news agencies with a focus on raising awareness of issues and dissemination of accurate quality information affecting the Indian community.

Amandeep is very excited to launch Pathways to New Zealand in India.

Her hobbies are Reading and Travelling, but her true passion is watching live cricket matches.


Maggie Ma , Client Relationship Manager Chinese Market.

Maggie is originally from Guilin, China, now a New Zealand resident, is a graduate from the University of Waikato holding a Graduate Diploma in HR and a Masters Degree in Applied Linguistics. She is fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.













Trisha Howard, Administration Manager/Director

Trisha established PathwaysNZ with Richard in 1992 and also works full time in the business managing the office and administering the business accounts, payments and financial affairs.
Trisha enjoys collecting antiques/collectables, gardening, walking and socialising with family and friends.










Clare Keaney, Client Liaison/Administartion

Clare is a local Hamilton girl. and will most likely be the first person you speak to
when you call or visit pathwaysNZ. Clare co-ordinates our front office, makes sure
our clients get to speak with the right advisers depending on their needs and generally runs the administartive function of PathwaysNZ.
Clare enjoys playing soccer and travelling.
