Registered Nurse Intellectual Disability and Forensic Nursing

Looking for a registered nurse with an interest in intellectual disability and forensic nursing.

DUTIES
Using analysis from data collection to gain insights into functional behavior and how this in turns informs our clinical interventions. You would also have access and support with professional development including post-graduate studies as well as intellectual disability training such as positive behaviors support as part of this role.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Knowledge and skills in mental health or intellectual disability nursing
• Have a current practicing certificate scoped for mental or intellectual disability nursing
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• A drive to develop your professional practice
• Critical thinking, planning and adaptability for a changing environment
• Ability to work within the multi-disciplinary team
• Managing task allocation, direction, and delegation effectively
