“Hard work and dedication” – Floyd Money Mayweather

My best buddy

There are many forums through which a prospective migrant might argue their case, be it through Immigration New Zealand, the Immigration and Protection Tribunal, or by way of ministerial appeal. A prospective client may approach us having lost a battle with INZ, but that doesn’t mean they won’t eventually win the (metaphorical) war.

Anthony Callaghan

IAA Licensed Immigration Adviser No: 200800906

Anthony joined the Pathways team in March 2003. With a strong legal background and vast immigration experience, he has a particular interest in managing highly complex cases including medical and character waivers, appeals and assisting New Zealand residents facing deportation. Anthony doesn’t shy away from cases which others would place in the “too hard” basket.

Born in Liverpool, England, Anthony migrated to New Zealand with his family in 1976, aged 4. After graduating from the University of Auckland with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws, Anthony was admitted to the bar as a Barrister & Solicitor in 2000. His initial foray into immigration began with employment with Malcolm Pacific. Following this, Anthony moved to the Waikato and worked as a commercial solicitor with Tompkins Wake.

Anthony is well travelled and enjoys developing relationships with people of all cultures. Outside of work he spends his time with friends and family and running around after his young son Blake. A perfect day would be spent boogie boarding at Raglan. With a keen interest in health and fitness, Anthony enjoys weight training, boxing, and kick boxing. He also enjoys watching cricket – when New Zealand is winning!
