An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Radiologist looking to make a true impact within a passionate and innovative team.
Playing a pivotal role you will provide consultant breast radiology services, which will facilitate the provision of appropriate high quality radiological services to the clinical specialities of Breast Screening Central and symptomatic breast services.
This includes an advisory and diagnostic service in all matters relating to radiological breast examinations, including determination of appropriate procedures, performing invasive diagnostic procedures, equipment evaluation, quality control, interpretation, advice and support to staff within Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services staff.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Breast Imaging
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Diagnostic Radiology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering :
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
