Sally Forbes

Sally joined the Pathways® team in January 2023 as an immigration adviser, and brings with her more than 14 years of immigration experience.

Sally has a strong and diverse background in the immigration industry. Prior to joining Pathways to New Zealand™, Sally was an Immigration Officer for Immigration New Zealand and, for nine years, a tutor for the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration advice courses - the qualification required to become a New Zealand licensed immigration adviser. During this time, she also managed her own immigration business. Sally has been a Licensed Immigration Adviser since January 2013 and works on a wide variety of visa categories, with a particular passion for family applications.

Sally holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Sociology) and a Graduate Certificate in New Zealand Immigration Advice. After graduating with her degree, Sally spent some years travelling and lived in Melbourne, an aboriginal community near Alice Springs, the United States, England and also taught English in South Korea. These travels piqued her interest in other cultures, and eventually led to her immigration career.

Sally is based in Hastings. She has two school aged children, and her spare time is spent enjoying her family, reading, and travelling around New Zealand.
