Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician

Within a mixed adult-paediatric department that is also the regional centre for tertiary and trauma. This dynamic Emergency department is supported by in-house specialist and has a 6 bed ED Observation Unit, a fully functional Minor Care Zone and a separate Paediatric.
This role will meet criteria for the 3 months supervised practice for ACEM specialist registration for IMGs.
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Emergency Medicine, having supervised trainee interns, house officers and Registrars. Competence in emergency point of care ultrasound.
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Emergency Medicine.
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Emergency Medicine Consultant with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
