Consultant Radiologist - Lower North Island

Our successful applicant will be providing consultant breast radiology services, which will facilitate the provision of appropriate high quality radiological services to the clinical specialities of Breast Screening Central and symptomatic breast services.

Boasting a wide variety of clinical referrers, including regional plastic surgery and rheumatology services as well as 2 Emergency departments, they provide effective, efficient and professional clinical radiology services, including general radiology reporting, fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, ultrasound and interventional radiology. Several of their Radiologists are subspecialist trained, so there is the ability to interact with and be peer-reviewed by colleagues with another sub-specialisation to increase your skills. They also have Regional Breast Screening and Symptomatic Breast Services within their facility.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in General Radiology
Subspecialty interests will be considered.
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Working in New Zealand
Health New Zealand has a Collective Employment Agreement in place across all their Districts offering :
Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
Reimbursement of APC, college membership, and indemnity insurance.
Access to state-of-the-art facilities and resources.
Assistance with relocation.
