The hospital is seeking an Emergency Medicine Specialist who has covered a wide range of emergency presentations including trauma to work in our 12 bed department. The team is very tight-knit so the ideal candidate will need to be able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team and have excellent communication skills. The roster consists of 3 overlapping 9-hour shifts, (plus some degree House Officer assistance). Currently the roster has no night shift or 'on call' requirements and operates on a 6-week cycle, allowing some predictability for personal planning. The hospital is classified as a Level 2 Hospital with 135 beds ranging from Surgical, Obstetric, Medical and Paediatric services.

185,380 - $267,980 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
