ICU Nurse

A unique opportunity for a registered nurse in a 24-hour service-based hospital in an 26 bed adult ICU specialising in providing care with intensives care for a range of cardiac, thoracic and vascular procedures. Offers 12-hour shift roasters for a better work life balance. There are excellent opportunities for on going education along with the ability to apply for subsidised relevant postgraduate education
DUTIES
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
• Registration with NZ Nursing Council
• A current Annual practising certificate
• Min 1-2 years’ experience in an ICU/HDU, acute medicine or cardiac area
• Able to independently and within a team
• Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team
• Commitment to biculturalism
