Nurse Practitioner -Ophthalmology

Based in Ophthalmology department working Monday to Friday, this role requires a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and care of patients.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
You will be required to manage your own patient load
• Registered nurse with valid annual practising certificate
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a nurse practitioner, with experience in Ophthalmology
Experience in Paracentesis advantageous
Glaucoma prescribing
Experience in leading macular degeneration clinics
Experience with reviewing and interpreting diagnostics
• Able to demonstrate knowledge and application of NZ health strategies
• Good communication and strong leadership skills
• Able to work autonomously
