Rural Hospital Specialist

e are seeking a Medical Specialist to work in both Emergency and Inpatients Wards providing comprehensive care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a broad generalist knowledge base and be able to effectively treat and diagnose patients presenting to the departments. Applicants must be eligible for Specialist (Vocational) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand in Rural Hospital Medicine.

Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience and expertise in Emergency/Rural Hospital Medicine
Hold post graduate specialist qualifications and registration in Emergency Medicine - Rural
Be eligible for an Annual Practicing Certificate and vocational scope/locum Tenens in Emergency Medicine with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

Annual leave: 6 weeks
CME Allowance and Leave - $16,000/2 weeks
$185,000 - $268,000 Base salary + allowances for job size, on call and availability.
